WildWooHoo — creative studio for the animal kingdom, including us
WildWooHoo is a creative studio for the animal kingdom - including us. We create music, audiovisuals and educational materials that draw parallels between animal and human societies. Animal behaviour, sociality and evolution are our edge; witty songwriting, popular culture, traditions, and the ecosystems we share give the work its breath. Despite all the worlds we have built, biologically we remain part of the animal kingdom.
We don't make work about the wild. We make work that comes from it. From behavioural research, animal societies, ecological change, evolutionary biology, and the parallels between human and non-human life. Hierarchy. Identity. Belonging. Coexistence. Care. Change. The questions the animal kingdom asks loudest are the questions our societies are quietly asking too.
Songs, music videos, animated series, books, classroom moments, public performances. We work in whatever form will travel, hoping the work enters mainstream music and entertainment, because cultural reach is what turns an idea into social impact.
Founded by Dr WELI, Sydney-based Brazilian-born music artist and behavioural ecologist (PhD, ANU). Winner of Science Magazine's Dance Your PhD 2024. Falling Walls Engage 2025 Top 30 worldwide. WildWooHoo has carried this work to 238+ media features across six continents.
We are a home of creation, not a service studio. Our own projects, our own audience, our own path to impact. We welcome creative collaborators, research partners, commissioners, and funders who want to build something the world actually feels.

Animal kingdom
music
social impact
- We start in animal behaviour, ecology and evolution: how animals (including us) handle hierarchy, identity, belonging, change
- We translate through music, music videos, animation, books, and public performance
- We aim for popular cultural reach because that's where social impact actually happens
- We retain artistic ownership and creative direction on every project we make
- We work with funders, broadcasters, publishers, and research partners who want the same
- We measure success by how far an idea travels and how it changes the conversation
